Routinify US, Inc. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Routinify.com website and the WellAssist mobile application (hereinafter referred to collectively as the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies and practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information when you use our Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of caregivers with whom you interact through the Services.

Information Collection and Use

  • We collect several different types of information as part of providing and improving our Services. The types of information we collect include:
  • Identifiers, including your name, email address, telephone number, and online and device identifiers;
  • Biometric information, namely sleep, health, and exercise data;
  • Audio and visual information as part of the communications functionality of our Services;
  • Geolocation data;
  • Payment information; and
  • Internet and other electronic network activity information, including browsing history.

We collect and use this information in the following ways.
Personal Information You Provide to Us. While using our Services, we may ask you to provide us with certain personal information, such as your name and email address. We use this information to communicate with you and provide you with the Services.

We also at times receive information about individuals from users of our Services. We collect this information so that our users can provide you with access to their data and to allow you to communicate with them through the Services.

Health and Wellness Information through the Services. Our Services enable you to share real-time data with your family and other caregivers. To do so, we collect health and wellness information from wearables, medical devices, in-home sensors, and the in-home smart display we provide to you. We use this information to provide the Services, including to allow your family and caregivers to monitor your health and wellness status.

Audio and Video Messaging Information When You Communicate with Others through the Services. Our Services enable you to communicate with your family and caregivers through the Services. As part of providing you this functionality, we may temporarily store such communications information. We use this information exclusively to provide you this feature and to improve our Services.

Precise Geolocation information. We may collect and store information about your location if you give us permission to do so. We use this information to provide certain features of our Services, and to improve and customize our Services. You can enable or disable location services when you use our Services through your device’s settings menu. Please note that you cannot disable location settings if you utilize the Personal Emergency Response (PERS) feature.

Payment Information. As part of providing paid products and/or services within the Services, third-party payment processors on our behalf may collect and process your bank account or credit card information. We never have access to your payment information, and the third-party service providers use such information only to process your payment.

Electronic Information When You Use the Services. When you access the Services, we may collect certain information automatically, including the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s identifier, your IP address, and other diagnostic data and similar information. We use this information to provide and improve our Services.

We also use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track and analyze activity on our Services, and to provide certain functionalities. These technologies enable allow us to collect and track information about how you use the Services, which we use to improve and analyze the use of our Services. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, parts of our website may not properly function.

We support Do Not Track. Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the Preferences or Settings page of your web browser.

Disclosure of Information

At times, we disclose information about you and how you use our Services. We do so for the following purposes.

Providing and Improving Our Services. We may share your information with our partners, vendors, and service providers as needed to provide our Services and to improve them. When we share information in this way, we require such partners, vendors, and service providers to use the information only for the purpose for which we provided it to them.

In addition, as part of providing you with the Services, we share certain information about you, including your health and wellness information, with the family members and caregivers to whom you have authorized such disclosures.

Business Transaction. If Routinify is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Legal and Safety Reasons. We may disclose your information in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • To comply with a legal obligation;
  • To protect and defend our rights or property;
  • To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with use of the Services;
  • To protect the personal safety of our users, employees, or the public;
  • To protect or defend against legal liability.

We otherwise do not share your information without your express permission. We may, however, share information that we anonymize or aggregate.

Retention of Information

Routinify will retain your information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. We, however, may indefinitely retain anonymized or aggregated information.

Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us. We use reasonable technical, administrative, and physical security measures to strive to protect your information. No measures guarantee 100% security, and therefore we cannot promise that we will protect against every unauthorized attempt to access, use, or disclose information.

Links to Other Sites

Our Services may contain links to other sites that are not operated or controlled by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. Because we have no control over those websites, we assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of such third-party sites or services.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information directly from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with their information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information directly from a child, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We constantly strive to improve our Services, and may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes to this Policy on this page.
