Growing our business and hiring four recent NBCC graduates in New Brunswick

Following our Canadian launch in early April, we’ve seen a significant amount of interest in our WellAssist™ platform. With increased interest in our product comes the challenge of growing our team to meet the demands of an ever-evolving platform.
Knowing we needed to hire, we turned to the New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) and their Information Technology – Programmer Analyst program at their Saint John campus. Not only did we find an abundance of talent, we also found a number of recent graduates who could make the transition from student to employee immediately and hired four capable and eager new employees.
“We were really impressed with the level of talent we saw in the NBCC students. They have the skills and experience to make an immediate contribution to our company,” says Pat Kelly, Routinify’s president and CEO. “Routinify is bringing forward an advanced solution to a growing problem and we are excited to welcome these graduates from NBCC to our growing New Brunswick team as full-time employees.”
The new hires will work alongside the seasoned development team here at Routinify, working on automation of our Smart Display setup, the evolution of our shared business services, as well as testing and quality assurance processes – all skills they learned and developed while students at NBCC. All four new employees will be based out of UStation, a unique co-working space located in Uptown Saint John.
We’re pleased with and encouraged by the level of support we’ve seen from individuals and organizations across New Brunswick since our launch. This level of support means we can build our capacity in this province while also playing a role in providing quality jobs that help graduates stay close to home.
